Bulk update assets

Hi,

I am looking to bulk update assets using the API. Specifically we are just changing "checkout_id:" to a different user. 

Is there a way to do this? I know I can bulk export to csv,xml,json using the API but I did not see a way to bulk update. If not I can do this by PUT /assets/{id}, change the  "checkout_id:" and loop it for each asset but will I run into rate limiting if I do this?

but I created ticket for it.

I think it will be available on next production update.

yea, you can do 600 updates each hour

how many assets you need to update and how often?

Thanks. I'm looking to do about 200-400 asset updates each night for a total of about 1200 updates, so this would be over a period of about 3 to 6 nights and will schedule these updates for 12:00 am EST .
