Sherlockian Abduction

Welcome!

Here's everything you'll need to know:

• Around once a month, I'll send an UPDATE message with a summary of changes to the list, particularly new entries.
• Feedback on updates to the list is strongly encouraged! Please respond with criticism, counterexamples (alternative causes), and potential extensions. Also pitch in if you use an entry IRL (or have in the past).
• Even better, if you have your own proposed entries for the list please start a conversation with ENTRY in the subject line. After I've researched it, if I have anything to add I may mention it in a later UPDATE email (otherwise I'll probably just reply that the entry is accepted/rejected). Let me know if you want your name on the entry, otherwise it'll be anonymous on the list (of course people can still see your email here).
• Feel free to start conversations about other related topics as well (content you'd like to see, philosophy of inference, etc.). No general discussion of e.g. Sherlock fanfic though. Also, don't put ENTRY in the subject line, so anyone here for raw content can easily search it.
• It's also fine to lurk and not contribute.
