A Special September Workshop

WITH - Shmulik Gov-Ari

Teaching Israeli Dances

September 24-26, 2021 at The Avalon Boulder, Colorado

Shmulik Gov-Ari is a gifted choreographer and

dance teacher. He has choreographed more than

300 dances utilizing both traditional and

contemporary Israeli music. His choreography

reflects the history of Israel and Israeli life.

He is also an accomplished, professional dancer

who has performed with multiple dance groups.

In addition, throughout his teaching career, he

established performance groups in Israel and used

his skill and knowledge to pioneer the art of using

dance as a bridge between Arab and Jewish youth.

Shmulik has a story for each of his choreographies

that he will happily share with us at the workshop.

This workshop is an incredible opportunity to work

with a renown international Israeli teacher in person.

The Avalon is a dedicated, spacious dance facility

with beautiful, sprung wood dance floors. Come join

us!
