Hi all,
James Hoskins of Sherefe here.
I will be participating in a fun event which will in part be a fund-raiser for the organization “Musical Ambassadors of Peace” (MAP) which Sherefe co-founder Cameron Powers created.
The Event will take place this Saturday January 14th at 6 pm in Boulder.

I will be performing solo cello at the Early Access portion of the evening, and will later join MAP members/board members Pete Jacobs and Meg York - as well as Violin/dumbek player Aaron Lande (who will also be our fabulous chef for the evening !!) in musical interludes throughout the evening.
There will be artists showing works, other musicians performing, and a panel discussion filling out the rest of the program.

Description:

Step back in time to when Gertrude Stein's legendary salon in Paris was a meeting place for artists, collectors, intellectuals, and writers. An experience unlike any other. Relish in an evening of art, culture, casual fine dining, world music and dance, spoken word and intellectual discourse in a secret location in South Boulder. Enjoy a vernisage style gallery opening, 3 course farm to table dinner with optional wine pairings,  featured celebrated chefs, artists, and panelists in an exploration of the topic: How can happiness be measured?

Here is the link to the Eventbrite ticket page.

A limited number of Early Access tickets are available, an opportunity to have a private viewing of the new collections, mingle with the artists, enjoy live cello music, and wine and charcuterie from 5pm-6pm. Click here for early access tickets.

Our secret venue will be revealed after your reservation is confirmed. Our tiered ticketing includes admission price, with optional add-ons for our 3 course wine pairings, and exclusive early access to the exhibit and mingle with the artists and featured guests. A 15% discount code is available for groups of 5 or more. A sliding scale is available upon request for those who qualify.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas and have entry to the event free of charge: admin, marketing, ticket sales, set up, clean up, food service, parking attendance

This is a nonprofit fundraising event presented by Cafe de la Culture in partnership with Musical Ambassadors of Peace and Caritas Consciousness Project. Ticket sales and donations support continued community arts events like these and to support trauma relief for refugee women and girls who have been victims of war and genocide.

I look forward to sharing the evening with you all!
