So many great dance events before we all take a summer break. In order:

 

This Friday, April 19 Planina at the CU Boulder Spring Slavic Festival outdoors on the grassy lawn west of the Varsity Pond, on the CU campus near the SE corner of Broadway & University. 4:00-6:00 pm, free and open to the public. Free blinis too!

 

Friday April 26 - Sunday April 28, BIFD annual workshop. Teacher Roberto Bagnoli, teaching Balkan, Israeli and more.

 

Saturday April 27 2 pm to 10 pm. Brett Bowen Memorial Concert and Celebration of Life. Most of the bands Brett was in will offer their musical tributes for dancing. Free catered food will be available; please RSVP at the link below.

Monday May 6 7:30 pm to 10. CU Folk dance class final. Free! Live music for dancing from James Hoskins, Julie Lancaster and Steve Mullins. IMIG Music building, room S317. Bring your dance shoes; it's a really nice floor.

 

Saturday May 4 Radio Free Basanda with James Hoskins at Nevi Kodesh,  7:30 - 9:30 PM. $25. 1925 Glenwood Dr, Boulder

 

Friday May 17 Planina will be playing for dancing at BIFD.  Sodal Hall in the Avalon

 

Saturday May 18 Barbelfish at Nevi Kodesh. 7:30 - 9:30 PM $20. 1925 Glenwood Dr, Boulder.
