Dear Festo Festo community, 

Good morning! Here are the details for our next Festo Festo: 

 

When: Thursday, July 27 form 7-9:30pm

Where: Africana Cafe - 5091 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80220 (the food is delicious!)

Who: Guest Artist DJ Kafu-Eye (8:30pm) and house bands Gora Gora Orkestar (7pm) and Upsherin feat. Eliana Light (7:40pm). Bring your instrument for the 8:20pm jam session!

Suggested donation $10-20

This event is a partnership between Festo Festo and our dear friends at Moishe Pod City Park.

Tisha Ba'av note: Tisha Ba'av, the saddest day in the Jewish calendar, runs from the evening of July 26 until the evening of July 27. Festo Festo starts before this holiday officially ends. While our observance or Tisha Ba'av will not be traditional, we will commemorate the holiday through Upsherin's repertoire choices and will transition together out of mourning into consolation/celebration. 

 

Location note: We will return to the Mercury Cafe for August's Festo.
