7pm – Free beginning bellydance lesson

7:30 – Music begins

Enjoy a full evening of open dancing, socializing, food& drink, and the great ambiance of the Merc’s ballroom, all to the energy-filled sounds of classical and folk Arabic dance tunes by the ZURUNA Middle Eastern Music Ensemble. We've filled our setlist with Mid-Eastern favorites and even a couple of Debke line dances!

Come a little early for a free beginning bellydance lesson at 7pm taught by Marsha Vashti Bowen of ZURUNA! This is for MEN and women. Yes, despite many misconceptions, men dance to this music too!

 

The Mercury Cafe has a large sprung wood dance floor, a full dinner menu, a bar, as well as beautiful lighting and ambiance.

 

Only $10 cash at the door (The Merc does not accept credit cards, but does have an ATM machine available).
