From Kimmerjae Macarus - Hosting the event:

Dear Friends,

So pleased to invite you to our August concert with James Hoskins on Sunday 8/22.

We very much look forward to enjoying an intimate evening with this longtime pillar of Boulder's most colorful music scene. James can effortlessly steer into the channel of universal human emotion in whatever culturally specific musical form he may lift from his vast repertoire to share with us. He has the unique gift of being able to do this with wisdom and the occasional mischievous grin.

Take a visual ramble through his website here:

And, I will give you a photo! I love this one:

As usual, potluck at 6, music at 7
$15 goes to the musicians;

We will be in the garden if weather is balmy, otherwise indoors with doors & windows open and a limited number of guests so we may all find places that suit our sense of spacious comfort. (There are a few seats on the porches for the most cautious, where the sound will carry.)
If you want to be sure to have a seat, I will hold a reservation for the first 20 people. After that, please be in touch closer to concert date to check our status.

Hope you are all having a heartwarming summer and are staying physically healthy and cool!

Best always,
Kimmer

Hoping to see you out this week! — James
