From Monica:  If the rain stops by @2PM Saturday afternoon, then we will be having another
manuer caravan; folks from The Farm and Shepherd's Field are welcome. Check with Bruce at 253-863-8125 or 253-753-8843.

If the rain stops by Saturday afternoon (@2PM) we will be meeting at Shepherd's Field about 12 Noon on Sunday (6MAY12) to caravan to the horse stables a bit north of 320th and Millitary Road in Federal Way. The area needs to dry out atleast 24 hours after a hard rain before being dug out which is why the caravan is dependent upon the rain conditions.

In general, afternoons are better for the stable people due to their chore and
other schedules. Also, Mondays are out because it is their big, weekly chore
day.

They have plenty of aged manuer of the type that is currently piled around
Shepherds Field; at least 100 yards. Whether the Sunday caravan is called off or not, there is plenty of opportunity for others. For those that want to go get
manuer, let us know your general availability.

Assuming the rain still holds off, it sounds like the manure run is going to happen Sunday (6th), so if you can help unload, I think they'll probably get back to Shepherd's Field about 1:15 pm or a bit after.  If you are going in the pickup caravan, meet there at noon.  If you have any questions, call Bruce (253-863-8125 or 253-753-8843).
