The series our tween and Middle school students have been working on is called "The Beautiful Trade" and it is all about how God offers us so much more than what we currently have in hand, better life, Better friends, better health, all are results of trade making the beautiful trade. The hard part is this...in order to accept his gift we have to trade him for it....for better friends we have to "trade" .... and finally for a better life ( which includes everything) we need to be willing to trade....everything. Pretty cool but still pretty hard. It is exciting too see how and where God is calling for them to trade with him.
This weekends Hunger Games Fast was a HUGE hit. The students are now fired up about getting sponsors for world vision to help save lives. They asked me to invite you to a special event that will close our Hunger Games sponsorship drive called "Journey to Jamaa" on April 29th 6:30 pm at the church. This will be a chance to gain a better understand what they learned about as well as a way to show your support for their desire to do something significant in this world! I hope you will be there.
The Grad event is coming up fast! May 6th 6:30- 8:30. Come and celebrate our students as they make these huge transitions to next grade in school, next big school and finally the next chapter of their life. We are planning this to be a HUGE PARTY for ALL of our true families to celebrate and cheer each other on! We really pray you can be there for this. Families tell me every year about the impact this one event has had on them. PLEASE PLEASE come. If you have a grad coming to the event we need you contact to Pastor Mike with some pictures pronto.
