Hello true parents
We are getting ready for this coming school year and a lot is happening at Shpc, from the church remodel, to the launch of our first multisite campus, to the kick off of our children and youth ministries this Sunday.
It would be super helpful if you could register yourself in our new student ministry database and then register your students too. Our google group email will be going away soon as we rely on the more accurate new information in the database. If you have already registered THANK YOU VERY MUCH. It really helps us a lot in knowing who we have coming and going. Remember an account for you as a parent with your contact information, and then accounts for your students in 5th -12th grade.

Important event news
Parent round # 2 is this Wednesday at 7:00 pm and Parent round up #3 is on Monday 7:00 in the Youth lounge.
We have two big events to start the school year off big. We have a video scavenger hunt on September 16th and 19th and we need you as drivers to get kids all over South Austin. Please zip me a reply if you are interested in helping on this fun event. Digital video cameras are needed too. Mi...@shpc.org works or in...@iamtrue.org works as well. Let us know soon.
The second event will happen on Saturdays sept 15th 22th & 29th, small group leaders are planning on snatching your tween or middle school sons/daughters for an early morning(6-7amish) breakfast to get some fun small group time in and get to know each other. The key here is that your student does not know about it, so we really will need your help. The sooner your student get registered the sooner we can place them in their small group (true crew)Each small group has about 10 kids and they will head off to cheap restaurant for breakfast tacos, or something like that. I can not tell you the exact date for your student cause that remains in their small group leaders hands.
Enjoy this day off of school/work with your student. Play with them. Enjoy them. They are really amazing people.
