CNC milling service for wood

I don't suppose anyone on this list knows where I can get some wood CNC milled in or near Shenzhen? There seem to be plenty of places around here that will rapid-prototype metal and plastic parts, but I keep coming up empty when I try to find people who will work with wood. Any leads?

You should talk to Zach since he got the HAXLR8R table custom milled. I
believe he got it done in the home improvement shopping area, ie: lumber
place.

I believe the home improvement area is near AQS. We got stuck there in
traffic before where the dude hauling wood panels on his bike held up a
bunch of cars in the middle of the road.

That area is located here: http://goo.gl/maps/6EMwm   About 20 min walk from the Yitian train station on the Longgang line.  There are multiple full size CNC routers within a few blocks of each other, along with laser cutters, press brakes, custom welding shops, glass, steel, lumber, plumbing, etc.  If you show up with a thumb-drive and digital files, they will likely cut what you need on the spot if not have it ready next day.  Great for prototyping but not exactly high volume production quality facilities.

Thanks guys, Zach actually already took us to those milling places, but the one we visited said they only did "simple" jobs and their machine had a z axis clearance of like 3-4 inches. This won't cut it (so to speak) for a couple of the haxlr8r teams. But if you think there will be lots of resources around there, maybe it's worth another trip.

You should check with Vowin, www.vowin.cn.  You can email a...@vowin.cn, she is very helpful and speaks English.  I know they work with Phenolics, and have good prices for small quantity jobs.  I am going there on Friday afternoon to pick up some parts and you or anyone else is welcome to join me.
