Hackers,

I have some junk I want to get packaged and shipped to the states. Any good/bad shipping stores in the HQB area? What should I look for in terms of price?

Thanks,
-max

This is the shipper I use. They’re in HQB in the shippers’ row area. Both Ian and I have used them and they deliver fast . You get a huge price break if you ship over 21 kg. I just go shopping and store all my stuff over there until it reaches over 21 kg. Last time, I shipped out something like 35 kg of equipment to my apartment. It was around $2-3/kg.

As another data point, they got me for $41 to ship a 4kg package (didn't weight more than 1 or 2kg) to the US. So, watch out.

Is there anyone needs ST-Ericso PDIUSBD12PWAA ? I have 150K on hand and I can sell it with a very completive price.

Thanks.

Hi Gavin.

Nice to hear from you again!

Wow. Ha ha ha. That’s an old chip. It’s a USB device chip with a parallel interface. Most MCUs today incorporate the USB device inside the MCU so it’s very rare to need a discrete one like that.

I’ll keep an eye out in case there’s any need for a device like that, but you might want to post it up on eBay or something in case somebody needs that exact part for a legacy design. The NXP USB device chips were quite popular back around the early 2000’s and that was a bestseller.

Hello Akiba,

I am very happy to talk with you too!

Yes, it is EOL part and one of my customer bought 150K for safety stock but they changed their design later.

Thank you very much for sharing and help.

Let’s keep in touch!

Gavin
