Save all bookmarks locally

Hi! I'm new to Shelve and I would like to know if it's the right tool for my project.

I want to convert all my bookmarks (currently as IE plain shortcuts that could be imported in Firefox easily) to .mht or .maff in the same folder structure and the same filename as the bookmark name, which is not the originals page name.

Is that possible with Shelve? I know that many of my Bookmarks are outdated, broken links etc. but at least I want to save as much as I can and then try to figure out how to automatically find all the broken pages through the local .mht files.

Any ideas would help

I'm afraid Shelve cannot help you with that. I guess you'll habe to do some programming.
