Oops! I remember counting six members for a quorum, so when I had six people as attending I though I got everyone. Forgot that Joe came later, so we actually had seven people. So the process with minutes is wait until the next meeting, and when it comes time to approve them, do that on condition of a revision. All minutes are considered in draft form until approved by the committee.

Hello All,
I spoke with the Shelton Library System Director, Joan Stokes, on Monday about the work the Anti-Littering Committee is doing in Shelton. I specifically asked her about the possibility of including more books about anti-littering in the Children’s Department of the Plumb Library as well as including a display in the children’s section highlighting books about litter. She was open to the idea of purchasing books for the library as well as including a display highlighting litter issues.
I have included a list of possible books that we might suggest for purchase – and found one book that even mentioned balloon litter. I included on our list – The Last Straw, by Zoe Matthiessen, that Joe brought to the committee meeting in September, which we could donate to the library if we want to and not be included in the list of suggested book purchases.
Before I meet with Joan, could you all please review the attached list? We can discuss this at our next meeting.
