-maybe on open space issues add, EPM reported the garage at 0 Mohegan Rd was cleared out and recently demolished by the seller/builder in preparation for the City’s acquisition and the seller dropped off two loads of top soil and had it spread out where the garage had been. Vine clearing and cutting back multa-flora rosa should be addressed after the City acquires.
-on the downtown canal locks EPM reported that just today supplemental submissions were tendered to the SEDC by one of the two engineering firms under consideration so the respective proposals can be better compared to eachother. So the City is still in the process of selecting an engineer for the project.

Draft, but already submitted to the City clerk, webmaster, Board of Aldermen, and others. It’s standard practice for city minutes for the clerk to submit as a draft and any changes are voted on at the next meeting. Marianne Chaya talked about that a lot, because with the various boards she clerked for, some member would invariably want her to change parts of the minutes.
