Here’s the info & agenda for the next CACIWC conference if anyone is interested. I attended the 5^th annual Connecticut Trails Conference in Torrington last Friday. It had been years since I had gone to any sort of conference, and I was struck at how much more difficult it was to strike up a conversation with some people because they turned away and buried themselves in their phones.  I learned a few things, but overall my impression was that Shelton’s trails program is far ahead of the curve, and that we’re down to earth and good at getting things done with limited resources.

Yes, and the registration fee is reimbursable. They are pretty good conferences. I think I’ve just got to the point where many of the break-out sessions are repeats for me.
