Derby-Shelton Dam permitting - Eel study plan

I’ve attached a letter from the Fish & Wildlife Service regarding a plan to study eels at the Derby-Shelton Dam. Nothing to act on, but I though you all might be interested in what is going on with the permitting.

I do recall that there were some locals who would fish for eels on the Derby side canal, particularly from the bridge that crosses it from route 34.

That would have been 15 to 20 years ago however
