Sorry to have missed the meeting. Was the letter regarding the sale of Open Space on Wesley Drive discussed? I liked the letter that Tom sent, but I think it should be signed by both Tom and Teresa.

Bill - The letter was discussed, and a few tweeks to the last paragraph were made.  The letter will be signed by me as Chairman of the Commission.  Sherry had the same thoughts, because the way the email went out it appeared that Teresa was signing it, but that is not the case.

That letter is mostly definitely NOT from me. My email program automatically put in my name at the bottom of my email when I sent the draft to Tom as it always does, that’s all, and that got copied and pasted by Tom onto the Google site. As a draft letter, it probably should not be on the public site. The original draft letter was written to reflect commissioner’s comments at the previous meeting and then changes were made by Tom and especially by Ed, who substantial wrote the intro and made a number of changes throughout the letter. Jim Tate commented that the letter was wordy, had too many adverbs, wasn’t clear enough, should be stronger, the word “reward” should be removed, and “an affront to Conservation” should be added.
