Here’s my blurb on the Trumbull Dog Park. Looks like it would be very similar to the one planned for Shelton. I noted a couple of trees marked to be removed in Trumbull – best to remove every unhealthy tree before the fence goes in! Click on the pan photo a couple times to enlarge it so you can really see the dog park.

CC, Mayor & Parks & Rec,
RE: Nells Rock /Rt 108 Corner
Lets prepare a complete and comprehensive masterplan for the Nells Rock site before any improvements are made. The Nells Rock corner is one of the most prominent sites in the City, centrally located and across from the SIS & HS campus. Central to our Rec Path and a convenient and accessible parking area for alot of activities. I saw an earlier site plan that showed a chaotic parking scheme that really just accommodated the dog park. Lets plan on removing the main house and outbuildings and look at building an attractive barn like storage structure, ( rec path equip, etc) , potentially on the same foundation of the main house or new, whatever makes the most sense I think this corner needs to be an attractive area for our community, Right now its a ‘storage yard’ with the ground, parking, and structures in disrepair. I see no historic value in preserving anything here.
