2020 Trail Overview

I am extremely proud of our small band of volunteers who aggressively maintained our nearly 30 miles of trails despite COVID and some severe weather impact on trails. Certainly this year marks the high point of trail use. The guys did a serious amount of chainsawing of downed trees. We had some help from our trail monitors, whose hours  are included in the 2000, along with four Eagle Scout Projects hours likewise not included. The Trail Monitor network not only report significant issues such as blocking tree falls, but spend effort clearing limbs and branches when they can. And the other big news from 2020 is the contract for a new equipment and meeting room barn.

One correction: We do not have hours from our trail monitors.  They walk a section of trail and report any issues to us they find. A few also do a lot of maintenance, but I don’t have their hours.
