Commissioners -
I've stated for many meetings that I've been working on getting appointments current.
See below email thread that I am now forwarding via the Google Group.
Today's email states that the letters are signed and will be mailed this week.
Let me know when you receive your re-appointment (or appointment) to the Conservation Commission in the mail.

Hi Tom,

Alderman Anglace asked me to respond to you. The Mayor’s office is taking care of the reappointments. The letters have been signed and will be mailed this week.

I have added the Mayor’s secretary, Juliana Pemberty, to this email.

If you have any further questions, please contact her.

Best regards,

Theresa

Hello Alderman (and BOA Clerk for record keeping).

I see on your Agenda for this ThuJun11 that there is an appointment being made to the Veteran's Memorial Park Committee.

I look forward to having an explanation why no similar agenda item has been set for making the appointments to the Conservation Commission, as I sent you all the below email in March.  The Mayor has refused to make these appointments, and per the Charter it now falls for the Alderman to make them.  This email is part of an earlier thread sent to all of you on Mar2 which had the full and thorough explanation for what needs to be done.

You did not do so in March.

You did not do so in April.

You did not do so in May

You are seemingly not doing so in June.

Under Roberts Rules of Order, this Thursday is a Regular Meeting and anyone can make a motion to modify the agenda.  I hope that you will consider doing so and take this action of appointments.  As a reminder, we have 2 vacancies going on several years in addition to stale appointments.  The recommendation to fill those vacancies was made 2yrs ago, and again sadly no appointments have been made for them, never mind the re-appointments.

I will be contacting each one of you separately after Thursday, either with thanks for taking action, or looking for an explanation as to why the continued delay.

Sincerely -

Tom Harbinson

Greetings Aldermen,

I want to bring to your attention a matter that has been stagnant for some time, and I am hoping you will take action at your March 12th Board of Aldermen Regular Meeting.

See the attached letter from me as Conservation Chairman detailing recommended actions.
