Thanks for updating shelterfinder, great work there.

I think it is very important now that we keep communication public, and that we distribute and coordinate all tasks, as at the moment I do not see a specification  and its easy to get stuck

I think this is where we stand now, but correct me if  I am wrong

- Indonesia shelters can be entered OK (4 hospital entered in database)

- Flags corresponding to shelters do not appear on the map even when we input manual lat/long.  Is this a bug?

- Search does not seem to automatically update to inlcude new location (have entered yogyakarta as new location yesterday, but is is not in the list of locations on the list.Maybe there is a input/output configuration issue here, but I do not know how the code has been designed.

Anand, where is the code for shelterfinder? Assuming we have one or more programmers willing to develop the tool further,  where can they dowload it from?(I thought there was a link on the wiki somewhere but now I cannot find it)


I would personally find it useful to discuss what is best to do -  what  behaviour should the code produce  and what tests do we want the code to pass - ideally before someone writes the code. I must admint that I feel that all the codind is being done without a specification and this makes me a little uncofortable, especially considering that other people may like to help out but there is no information for them to work with

A few more functional upgdates would be desirable, pasted below - let's discuss if we want them and how to best implement them

Also, I cannot recover my skype password for shelterfinder handle (also got ten dollars credit on it - dont run away to brasil)
someone must have taken over  the handle  and changed the email address -

I think we should make it clear who is receiving emails and make sure that more than one person can resolve correpondence at any given time

Regarding the wiki , Anand would you mind asking Mikkel to help you configure the wiki as discussed yesterday?Just give him access and I can instruct him further if he is not sure what to do.
