Updates Shelter Cluster Coordination

Dear Shelter Cluster Members,
UN-HABITAT has just taken on the Shelter Cluster Coordination role from IFRC. On the interim, I will be directly anchoring the cluster while we are hiring the full-time coordinator. I have received the electronic files and the hard copies of the Shelter Cluster from IOM and from Jan Willem and I will be reviewing them to ensure proper turn over to the Coordinator when he is on board.
For the first cluster meeting, I would like to propose January 7 at 10am in the UN offices at RCBC Plaza. I will send the agenda before the end of the year. Although I will be on leave on Dec. 23, 24, and 28, I can be reached by e-mail (please use eden....@yahoo.com while I’m on leave because the UNDP account is not very functional outside of the UN) or through my mobile numbers: Smart- 0918-919-1504; Globe (official) – 0917-507-5715.
