Dear all,
 
This is an alert email to inform you that PHILVOCS has raised the alert level of the Mayon Volcano, Albay Province, Region V, to 3: Increased tendency towards eruption within days/ weeks, with an additional warning that the six kilometre radius danger zone and 7 kilometer extended danger zone on the South East sector of the volcano is dangerous due to  sudden explosions that may generate hazardous volcanic flow.
 
Evacuation of 7000 people has already started and is ongoing.
 
The number of vulnerable people to be evacuated at Phase 3 is 12,803 persons
The total number of people to be evacuated at Phase 4 is 120,143 persons (eruption within hours/ days)
