Colin, did you just make this?

I have placed a page on there, a one-liner about a possible name origin.

Nicholas,

Err, pardon, did I make what?

If you mean all the Shellaker related stuff on wikitree.com then 'yes', that's mostly me - by all means please post corrections and updates there!

Colin:

No, I've seen your Wikitree before, this is something else that just appeared today.
Here's a link to it:

http://shellaker.wikia.com/

There's nothing there apart from the creator, "Shellaker", and the page I just added.
Very strange.

Nicholas,

Oh *that* - yes, sorry, that is mine.  I was going around checking some accounts that I created years ago just to see whether they were still active/useful and that was one of them - I've never actually used it for anything but logging in yesterday must have accidentally woken it up :)

Well spotted by the way!

It looks dreadful. If it resembled something familiar like Wikipedia it might have been useful, but I can't envisage anyone navigating around all that stuff, not to mention the Flash ads all over the place. And it let me make a page without signing in. You were probably right not to bother with it.

Quite.  It's ghastly.
