1967 Shelby G.T. 500 Cut-Away Illustrations

We absolutely love the cut-away illustration of the ‘67 Shelby G.T. 500, or should we say “illustrations”? That’s right -- there was more than one. To date, we’ve identified three different cut-away illustrations for the ‘67 Shelby G.T. that were published, plus the original hand-drawn sketch by W.A. Moore.

Because we don’t want you to miss out on all hours of fun we experienced, we’ve chosen to structure this topic a bit differently than we normally would here at the SRG.  

Take your time and look at each version of the illustration. Try to identify the pre-production features and also try to spot the differences between each version of the illustration.

 

There are three different illustrations that follow (plus the original hand-drawn sketch). 

Get a paper and pen ready ... see if you can spot the features that never made it to production and identify the difference between each of the three different published versions of the cut-away illustrations. 

We’ve created the ‘version numbers’  to help with the identification and discussion.
