Fighting Against Cuts and 
Privatisation in the NHS

PUBLIC MEETING

hosted by Sheffield Save Our NHS
supported by People's NHS, 999 Call for the NHS 
and Sheffield 38 degrees.

The result of the general election brings new threats to the NHS and healthcare provision for all and an urgency in the fight to save it. This meeting is a chance to find out what is happening both nationally and locally, discuss where we go from here and plan activities for the future. 
All welcome.


Key Speaker: 

Professor Raymond Tallis, Writer and retired physician,
Co-editor of NHS SOS; 

updates on local and national issues from: 

Graham Pettinger, GP from Devonshire Green Surgery, threatened with closure;
UNISON, on 7 day working in the NHS;
Nathan Walsh, Branch Secretary of UNISON National Blood Transfusion Service on threats to the Sheffield Services;
speaker on Migrants' access to healthcare invited.


Thursday 2nd July 7pm
Quaker Meeting House, Saint James' Street, Sheffield.

The meeting is planned as an open forum for people to put forward ideas and get involved.  There will be a variety of campaign stalls and information available. The room will be open from 6.30pm for people to view this information and start the informal discussion. 
The speakers will start at 7pm.
