Another weekend of protests against the Bedroom Tax and other benefit cuts begins next Saturday 20^th – in Leeds, Manchester and elsewhere.  Send us details and we will publicise local protests

We are building up a list of local Benefit campaigns – let us know if you have a group set up and who is the contact.

 

Last Saturday also saw protests across the country. A lively North London 1,000 mothers march  marked the introduction of total benefit caps: see  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IytRK6iIgXk 

Benefit campaigners took the protests to Ministers’ doorsteps on Saturday, in  UKUncut and DPAC organised action outside homes and offices of  Osborne ,Ian Duncan Smith, and Lord Freud  

And Paula Peters spoke powerfully for Benefit Justice to the Social Work Action Network, where lots signed the Benefit Justice statement on our stall.
