Firstly may I welcome you to the Google Group dedicated to the
discussion of SheerCMS, the free ASP.Net Content Management System.

I thought that for the first post I would give some guidelines to what
is permitted topics for this group.

Guidelines:
I am not one for rules, but there have to be guidelines, so here they
are:

1. Keeping on subject.
This group is for discussing SheerCMS, it's features, issues and
implementation hints and tips. Please can people keep their posts to
these subjects.

There are plenty of Usenet groups, message boards and websites
dedicated to discussing ASP.Net, C#, XML, HTML, CSS or Web Design.
Please direct general points on these subjects to them.

2. No adverting.
Please do not post advents, spam or messages that just promote
websites or services.
If you have done something interesting with SheerCMS, then by all
means publish a link to the site, but not just a link to your latest
project.

3. Keep comments, statements and language appropriate.
If people start posting offensive comments then moderators will remove
the posts and ban the users concerned.
We do not wish to do this, so, if people behave we won't have to.
