It's not under /very/ active development at the moment, but it's not
abandoned either. Thomas and Fahrzin have done some work on it at the
beginning of the summer.
Please note that while there has been no official announcement yet,
the project has moved from Google Code / Gitorious to Github; so the
page at Google Code is not up to date. You're welcome to see by
yourself at https://github.com/shedskin/shedskin .
