Shop to Stop Child Abuse

Hello Sheafe Community,

 

One of the teachers of Wappingers Central School District is organizing the Shop to Stop Child Abuse sale again this year. The following is an e-mail that she asked me to forward to our community: If you have any questions, please let me know.

 

Sheafe Road, we need your help! The Shop to Stop Child Abuse Sale has collected hundreds (possibly thousands!) of amazing donations- clothing, toys, books, strollers, highchairs, bikes, movies, etc), and now we need your help! There are three opportunities to volunteer:

 

1. Thursday, April 25th- We will be meeting at Hopewell EZ Storage at 4:00 to move all of our donations into trucks, and transport everything to the JCC (Jewish Community Center at 110 S.Grand Ave in Poughkeepsie- right off Hooker Ave, near Vassar College). We are in desperate need of TRUCKS! Pick up trucks, trailers, box trucks, vans, mini-vans...whatever you have available!

 

2. Friday, April 26th- We need help setting up for the sale from 4-8 (or however long you are able to stay!) at the JCC. Your entire family is welcome to come and help...the more, the merrier!! There is a ton of stuff, and we need help putting it all out to get it ready to sell...

 

3. Saturday, April 27th- We need volunteers to work at the actual sale, from 9-2.
