I just found you all by accident and have actually been wanting
something just like this for quite some time, to the extent I was
afraid I would have to set something similar up myself >.<

as your meeting is held at "the cross" is access at all restricted to
<18s?
I'm currently on 17, am a huge Linux enthusiast and a Python
programmer and was wondering if it would be at all possible to come on
in sometime?!?

Thanks again,
Chris.

There are a good number of children there on a weekend, with their parents.
If you don't attempt to buy alcohol you won't be noticed.

OMG a python programmer - you are welcome to join us on Saturday mornings at the Cross (10.30am) and play with XOs - OLPC laptops designed for kids in developing countries - they run Sugar and most of the activities for the XOs are python based.

I got an OMG :o
my 12 year old sister was trying to convince my parents to get her an XO after I showed her a few pics. It was the antenna like ears and the fact its green that made her want it LOL.

I guess I'll have to try get there someday, but planning wise... not my strong suit :p
and 10 am... is the sun even up then?

Thanks everyone,
Chris.

Python programmers should be sure to check out http://nzpug.org/ and
get on the python user group mailing list. Wellington has a new user
group meeting happening once a month, the first one earlier this month
was excellent so definitely worth attending the next early in feb.
