Wa 'alaikum as-Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh Sisiter Haleema
Further to your question with regards to contacts for the Shadhiliyya tariqa in London, there is the Muqqadam of tariqa Shadhilia Darqawiyya [al-'Alawiyya al-Hashimiyya branch of Sidi Nuh Ha Mim Keller and his shaykh Sidi 'Abd'r Rehman Ash-Shaghouri], Sidi 'Isa Walley who is in charge of the Arabic and persian manuscripts at the british musuem. You can contact them via there website: shadhili tariqa.com . They have several weekly gatherings in and around London. This is the Damascus branch of the 'al-Alawiyya branch of the tareeq. There is a representative of the Habibi branch [moroccan]of the Shadhili Darqawi tareeq in London, Sidi Ahmed Thomson, who is a practising Muslim lawyer as well as being a representative of his Shaykh, Abdul Qadir
al-Murabit [or as-Sufi]. Their Shadhili links are with the famous morrocan shaykh from the city of Meknes, 'Arifbillah, Sidi Ibn al-Habib al-Filali [or Darqawi]; you can contact them via their website: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/ABewley/ or via the website for muslim lawyers: www.aml.co.uk . There is also a representative of the 'Alawi and Habibi branches [via the secret carrier of the Sirr of Shaykh Ibn al-Habib, Sidi Muhammad al-Qurshi who lives in the Morrocan Saharah and is still living (103 years old)] as well as being 'Awwaisi of the Qutb al-'Alam Maulay 'Abd es-Salaam al-Mashish the Murshid of the famous and perrenial shaykh al-'Arifin Sidi Abu'l Hassan ash-Shadhili. He is based in Oxfordshire but teaches only to serious seekers and in traditional manner. He can be reached only after you have tried the
rest. These are the only people I am aware of who are teaching openly; however there is Sidi 'Abbas of the Qadiryyia Boutchichiyyia tareeq of Sidi Hamza in Cricklewood, They also have a link with the Shadhilliyya as their shaykh has permission in Tijani, Qadiri [family tareeqa] and Shadhuliyya. he can be contacted via their website: www.tariqa.org. If you have any problems in getting in contact with the above 3, please let me know and I will see what I can do.
Abu'l 'Alamayn
