Can't find the 0.5u or 1u chrome oxide PSA paper anywhere, including
all the links from the main article. Can anyone point out a current
source?

Thanks!

Hi Arcady

I don't think 3M makes the PSA version of Chrome Oxide any more.

Lee Valley still sells the non-adhesive version but it is on a thinner
backing and much more likely to rip if you try to hone a blade that has
a bit of wire edge left over from the 5 micron sheet.

The web page had an error in the part NEWER GRITS. The first alternative
should have been 1 micron Aluminum Oxide. You can get that from Tools
for Working Wood.

Hey Brent.....I sent you a list of the sharpening stuff I had for sale a couple of months ago with no response from you. Did you receive it or do you want me to send it again?

Hi Tony

Sorry, your email got lost in my inbox during a trip to Peru unrelated
to sharpening!

Tony sent me a list of supplies he has for sale.

I could add a page on my web site for this sort of thing, but I do not
want to be the go-between on transactions. If I do and a transaction
fails for any reason, I don't want to have to try to make it right.

I guess you can send an email to this list (the sharpening jig list)
with what you have. One email should be enough. Perhaps others who have
related stuff they want to sell can send one email as well. Only
non-commercial postings please.

Please have the subject line begin with the words "For Sale".

Any transactions are between the individuals involved. I vouch for no
one, accept no responsibility.

Others should let me know if they think this is a good or a bad idea.

Hi Brent....I just sent you a list as that's what you asked me to do.

I certainly understand, and don't want you involved in selling my supplies. I'm just going to put them on ebay and handle it that way. I'm only going to offer it as a package and hopefully it will sell that way.

Didn't mean to get you involved..

Thanks,
Tony

Hi Anthony

Why didn't I think of ebay - that gets you the largest set of potential
buyers, so probably the best price.
