Tormek/Jet slow speed wet sharpeners

Ok I'm convinced about the need for micro-bevels. what about the slow
speed wet sharpeners for the primary? I ask because I have the Jet.

Hi Ken

Slow speed sharpeners are just fine - a little slow, I understand, but
assuming you leave a little of the old honed/wear bevel just like if you
were using a belt sander or a wheel, should be no problem. The slow
speed may even make it easier to creep up on the old edge.
