I noticed that Tools for Working with Wood doesn't currently Brent's
recommended 0.5u chrome oxide. They do have 0.3u and 1u aluminum oxide.
Does anyone have comments on these papers?

I'm still gearing up to try Brent's system, but I will say that his
website is a joy. Theory, data, and practice difficult to glean from
100s of other sources, is clearly presented. I can tell that he wants to
use the medium to communicate. This is what was promised by the WWW back
in 1994. This is website-of-the-year award worthy.

Hi Anthony

No one seems to be able to get the PSA 0.5 chromium oxide any more. The
1.0u is an ok replacement.

Thanks for the great review of the site.

When you get a jig built and you test things out, send me some pictures
of what you did and I will add them to the user jig section.

Brent.....I just retired and have all the stuff for your sharpening process, if anyone is interested. Glass, sandpaper, etc.
