Brent, I have already sent you an email about this, but I figure it
couldn't hurt to post here as well.
While reading your page I came across the line that reads: " I am
still looking for an electron microscope to get an image of [the
scratches left by the 0.5 micron abrasive]"
While you may have been joking, there is indeed a way to get those SEM
(Scanning Electron Microscope) images you wanted. There is a company
that makes small SEMs that, as an way to advertise I believe, is
offering to scan samples for free.

I would love to see those microbevels at some insane levels of
magnification.It might take a while, but it would be awesome.
