Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!

I just came back from two weeks off, my wonderful partner Brian was on 4th shift patrol and held down the fort. 😊  I will be going to 4th shift patrol starting Saturday for a month. (Batter Up) 😊. Brian will be back to normal community coordinator duties.  Hopefully all back to normal in February we have received some new rookies from the last two academy classes.

Most of you know how involved we are with NC Special Olympics, I do a little bit more of the crazier things than Brian to support the athletes, such as climb over the edge of sky scrapers and jump into freezing cold water. LOL

I have decided to start 2024 supporting my friends and athletes again by taking the FREEZING plunge for the 2nd year in a row.  If you would like to donate and support the athletes, myself and the CMPD team the link to donate is below. 100 % of the proceeds go to the athletes. They are amazing and so inspiring, most importantly they have become our friends. 😊

Check out Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's team fundraising page for Special Olympics North Carolina (specialolympicsnc.com)

As always thanks again for your support.

Beth
