Good Evening, we have seen a quick spike in stolen vehicles in our area. For whatever reason people are leaving their cars UNLOCKED WITH spare keys in their cars or keys to the car its parked next to inside that car. PLEASE help us in spreading the word to STOP leaving keys/fobs inside cars…! There are suspects who target unlocked cars just to find keys for a car to steal. We do not want these suspects to continue to be in our area and have such success with stealing cars. 2 very simple tools can prevent this, lock your car & take all keys out..!
Also, Summer is here and as we always see, there are more children out and about riding/walking/biking around in the communities, going to the pool, and hanging out. PLEASE slow down when driving in your community. NOONE wants to hear about a child being struck by a car so PLEASE take an extra minute and use caution while driving to help keep EVEYONE safe..!

Officers turned around don the car and the driver wrecked the car on Carmel Rd and took off running. The vehicle ended up being stolen out of another county.
