At the risk of being shunned by some friends who are really DONE hearing about this #&$*ing show...
Here's the scoop:
"Birth, Toil, Death, Rebirth"
10 brand-spanking new paintings (like they still smell like acrylic sealer fumes!)
For March, the show will be hung at Sean Christopher Gallery, 815 N. High Street (corner of Hubbard and High in the basement of that Greystone [Graystone?] building)
Opening reception from 6-10 THIS SATURDAY during Gallery Hop
For April and May, the show will be hung at The Queen Bee restaurant, 248 S 4TH Street
Can you come?  I'd love to see you!
And for those who have expressed interest in advanced viewing...Please e-mail me for John's contact info to set up an appointment.  I'll also be at the gallery @ 5:30 on Saturday, so that's kinda like advanced.

CONTEST!!!
Firstly, congratulations to Abby A. who won the last contest with the answer, "Paul Ruebens"!
Now to this installation...
The prize this time around is a ONE OF A KIND 8 X 10 (ish) painting on Bristol paper inspired by your name.  Maybe it will be your POWER ANIMAL!
Here's the question...
Have you seen the pirated trailer for the film Coraline yet (was it shown before Beowulf?)?  Henry Selick + Neil Gaiman...MAN!!!  It's like the film version of what it would be like if Morrissey and Robert Smith started a band, in other words...THE MOST AWESOME THING IN THE WORLD!  I can't wait!  ANYwho...Back to Henry Selick.  Please name the famous children's book illustrator (one of my ALL-TIME favorites, has a thing for stinky cheese), who did character design for a certain 1996 Henry Selick film.
That shouldn't be so hard!

So that's it for now...
Pictures of the exhibit for anyone interested will be available sometime mid-month after I get a chance to photograph them.  Still working on thinking about attempting to get busy with making a real website.  I swear, someday it will be amazing!

See ya Saturday then?
