Join friends and neighbors at noon on Sunday, August 29, 2021 for the 130th annual Sharon Picnic at Willard Bass Park on Route 123. Bring your own lunch and plan to practice social distancing. There aren't enough picnic tables so bring a blanket or a chair; there will be extra chairs available. This is a casual event which will celebrate the Park's milestone anniversary (with a special cake) and will feature updates about town news. Pease park at the Meethouse and feel free to stop in to view the archives or visit our historic one-room Brick Schoolhouse.
Your donation (cash preferred) will be warmly welcomed to help with the upkeep of the park, including the need to replace the rickety old picnic tables.
Should rain be forecast, the plan is to move the event indoors to the Meetinghouse.
Hope to see you!
