I don't know what you are doing in Sharon these days. My life has been full of other things and I'm sorry to say it has been a year or two since I played a game of Go. I hope I'm not too rusty when I do get my act together to try again. If you are still playing online on Monday nights, I may try to join those sessions some time. One of my "other things" is that I am an ambulance driver for the local Volunteer Fire & Rescue and my semi-regular shift is Monday nights.

Apparently, the Children Writing "Software" at Meetup neglected to include a warning that "if you send this message you will not be able to get replies, so would you like us to adjust your privacy settings?"

 

Modern programming toolkits are a double-edged sword -- anyone can write "software", even idiots.

 

I found her on Facebook and sent a message there, but it looks like she may have last used Facebook in 2022. However, it may send her an email that she has a new message from me.

It was my understanding that you wanted to reduce the frequency to roughly once a month. So as a result I booked plans for a number of Mondays in a row, which now actually exceed that month by a bit and run throughout April.

On a different note, I did locate a Go teacher who is willing to give me lessons, starting in May. We have not yet nailed down the specifics, but I think this is actually going to happen.

I continue to go to the Providence Go group, and my problem-solving slump seems to have abated.
