This is Avanish from NLB Services.  We are a global recruitment company with a specialization in hiring IT professionals.  One of our clients is looking for a Windchill Support Engineer(Remote)

 

Position: Windchill Support Engineer

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

 

Job Description:

 

Primary Day-to-Day Responsibility

 

·         7+ years of experience in PLM and Windchill PLM business administration, Support, functionality and troubleshooting issues related to Windchill / PLM interaction with CAD (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD) and ERP

·         Strong hands-on experience in Windchill PLM application L2 and L3 support, resolving incidents, SRs, writing problem reports and involving in defining change requests, solving complicated tickets

·         Provide support to Windchill and CAD users across USA, Europe region

·         Very good customer facing skills to attend and drive status calls, present technical explanation and analysis of tickets, create reports, good in documentation

·         Hand-on experience in supporting configurations and troubleshooting Windchill and CAD integrations, CAD Workers and Visualization services in one or more of the following: Creo, Solidworks and AutoCAD, Solidworks experience is preferable.

·         Strong experience in working with Windchill 11.x / 12.x PDMLink/ Project Link and any other modules

·         Sound knowledge on EBOM, Part and Document management, Change Management and PLM-CAD-ERP  integration scenarios

·         Working on Windchill configurations, duplicating issues, troubleshooting, investigation of technical problems and providing, tracking the resolution of those tickets.

·         Interact with Windchill users and IT team of customer to gather required inputs to resolve tickets

·         Create and publish knowledge base articles for re-use by customers and other project team members

·         Coordinate with PTC for timely resolution of PTC cases

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with customer issues over phone, email, and Ticketing tool like SNOW

·         Work as per Support SLAs

 

Secondary Responsibility

 

·         Experience with designing and creating workflows and lifecycles

·         Good Debugging skills to narrow down to the issue in a customized environment.

·         Experience in working with Windchill Workgoup Manager

·         Experience in fixing code defects, enhancements, and customizations

·         Experience in data migration, Windchill update and Major Upgrade

·         Experience in vaulting & replica Configuration, working with Windchill Workgoup Manager, rehost/cloning

·         Knowledge on Windchill cluster, Cluster, and monolithic installations on Linux / Windows (Windchill Installer experience) on prod and pre-prod
