It is a  short but powerful podcast (about 11 minutes) by Christine Watkins (author of the bestselling Catholic book The Warning) focuses on the life and prophecies of the Venezuelan mystic María Esperanza Medrano de Bianchini (1928–2004), Servant of God, whose apparitions of Our Lady in Betania, Venezuela, were approved by the local bishop in 1987.Key points:María Esperanza had extraordinary charisms (stigmata, bilocation, healings, reading of hearts, and accurate prophecies).

She foretold events that were fulfilled, such as the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II (1981) and a vision of the collapse of the Twin Towers before 9/11.

The central prophecy highlighted in the podcast: In the early 1990s, Our Lady told her “It will start here”, referring to Venezuela.

At that time, Venezuela was prosperous and peaceful. Today, the country has collapsed economically and socially (worse than the Great Depression), with widespread hunger, emigration, and the regime entangled in narcotrafficking and alliances with Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.

The podcast connects current geopolitical tensions around Venezuela (U.S. military movements, threats of intervention, Russian/Chinese support for Maduro) to this prophecy, suggesting Venezuela could be the spark for larger conflicts — even risking nuclear escalation or broader war.

Other warnings from María Esperanza: The “yellow races” (Eastern powers) rising against the West, and the cruelty of modern warfare aimed at massive extermination.

Yet the message is not fatalistic: Intense prayer (especially the full Rosary daily — Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries) and fasting can avert wars, suspend natural laws, and mitigate disasters. Our Lady and the Holy Spirit will ultimately triumph.

The podcast ends with hope: these difficult times are part of God’s plan, and the good will prevail through humility, love, and devotion to Jesus and Mary.Highly recommended for reflection as we discern the signs of the times.

I am  doing an article on  the matter, explaining why Venezuela, since  I have a pretty good idea why the country has been chosen by heaven to be the beginning of the Great Tribulation (and the beginning of the  Era of Peace). Hint: the reason is that we need an exorcism, in the whole world. And my home country in a very particular and urgent way. I will share it with you.
