"Internet Exchange Points" are place where ISP/Service Providers exchange the internet traffic locally and globally. It allows ISP/Service Providers to interconnect directly, via the exchange. The advantages of the direct interconnection are numerous, but the primary reasons are cost, latency, and bandwidth.

There are 5 ISP/Telecoms in Cambodia listing in Asia Pacific Internet Exchange. It is important to have Internet Exchange Point within a countries to exchange the local traffic which save the cost of the international traffic link.

Mr. Meun Dol will be a speaker of this topic "Internet Exchange Point” He is currently working for Chuan Wei Telecom as Core Network Engineer. He works on networking technology with various products such as CISCO, JUNIPER, HUAWEI, HP, FORTIGATE, CHECKPOINT, ENTERASYS and MIKROTIK from Designing, Implementing and operations of many small and medium sized ISPs, Enterprise networks, Data Center in Australia.
