Over-the-top (OTT) technology is any application or service that provides a product over the Internet and bypasses traditional distribution. Services that come over the top are most typically related to media and communication and are generally lower in cost than the traditional method of delivery.

OTT technology is no longer to have the dedicate network infrastructure to delivery the application or services, what OTT technology need is internet. Viber, Line, WeChat and Kakao Talk application is consider as OTT application and NetFlix, LETV and SuperNet are considers OTT service provider.
