I need some one who has excellent comm.
7+ years of experience in database management
7+ years hands-on experience in complex SQL server ( at least 2 years with 2005) environments (cluster, multiple instances) including administration and development of database solutions
The Database administrator is responsible for improving all internal processes and tools to keep database safe, secure and performing
The Database administrator is responsible for evaluating changes to the databases schemas and code and apply them to the production environment
The Database administrator is responsible for supporting the other teams (operation and development) to improve overall company's efficiency by providing technical directives, best practises and suggestions to improve quality and performances of DB schemas and SQL code.
The Database administrator is capable of determining the level of criticality of issues affecting a database and the best time/path to resolution within the responsibility and established procedures
Install, administer, and maintain multiple SQL server databases in clustered and non-clustered environments and in all product lifecycles
Design and implements backup and restore strategies and processes involving complete database backup/restore, transaction log backup/restore
Design and implements SQL replication across multiple nodes
Assist development, operation, and management teams with disaster recovery strategies and system architecture design
Perform index optimization and database performance tuning. Work with development teams to resolve any database performance issues;
Proactively automate checks and balances in database maintenance routines
Provides Level 1 and 2 on-call support after business hours and weekends;
Performs planned tasks on weekends
Escalate and handles technical issues to Microsoft
Provide on-going capacity analysis and planning to determine future projections of hardware requirement and/or configuration changes
Performs reviews of schema and code changes as part of the SDLC and implements the changes to the production servers according to company policies
Assist the Security team to keep the access to databases safe and secure and to provide information to the audit team.
Collects/monitor/analyze data to provide feedbacks for capacity planning
Assist management to make proper decisions by providing timely accurate and undestandable information
Approve SQL code
Approve Schema changes
Emergency/Critical tasks when management not available
