Position type:         1 year contract

Location:                City Centre area (Beltway & I-10) Houston, TX (77024)

MUST HAVE Netezza 

 

 

1. What are your top 3 technical skills and percentage of time it will be used?

-          Informatica 8x  50%

-          Netezza   25%

-          PL/SQL   25%

 

2. What are the top 3 duties percentage of time doing it?

-          Experience with build of large data warehouses   50%

-          Experience creating/modifying ETL code utilizing NZSQL   25%

-          Experience creating detail design documents and technical specifications  25%

 

 

3. Top 3 projects?

-  1 specific project = The project will help to create a nightly process that will extract, transform, and load data from a series of Operational tables and into a data warehouse for use by Settlements. 

 

 

4. Why would someone want to work on this team?

1)       HR screen (phone)

2)      Technical interview with their Architect - (face to face if local; skype if out of area)

3)      Final interview with IT Director – (face to face if local; skype if out of area); this will not be nearly as technical, but more of a personality feel / cultural fit
