Location            Baltimore, MD (Woodlawn- 21244)
Duration           12+ months     (extensions given every 12 months based on performance)
Interview            Phone + FTF or Skype (based on location of candidate)

Experience        9 years of min exp along with a degree

 

Client has an immediate need for a highly motivated BI
Applications Developer/Analyst with responsibilities including:
participating in all aspects of evaluating and developing a Business
Intelligence Solution for a Business Intelligence Suite, utilizing SOA
platform and ETL tools (such as Cognos, Oracle, Teradata) as well as
Business Intelligence applications (such as MicroStrategy).

Required Skills:

Demonstrated architecture and administrative skills using MicroStrategy.
Demonstrated development ability using MicroStrategyKnowledge of both
client/server and mainframe-based systems.
Extensive technical experience with requirements analysis efforts for
large-scale successful IT system implementations.
Requirements analysis experience with identifying services and
defining processing requirements in a SOA environment.Business Process
Modeling experience to visualize, document, model and analyze business
processes.
Experience eliciting requirements that lead to identification of business rules.
Proven ability to document and progressively elaborate requirements
using use cases; to develop general user requirements, detailed
functional requirements and system specifications.
Proven experience with the following tool sets: Rational Requisite
Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio.
Demonstrated experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and
Rational Unified Process (RUP)
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
and to distill complex technical and management data to a laypersons
understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy.
